Vineyard Dataset

L’Institut Agro Montpellier’s Domaine du Chapitre, located in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone within the Montpellier metropolitan area, stands out with its Mediterranean geographical features. It spans over a hundred hectares of agricultural land, including vineyards, olive trees, arable crops, and scrubland.

Established at the Domaine du Chapitre since late 2016, the Mas numérique brings together digital solutions useful for production activities. What sets the Mas numérique apart is the integration of these complementary technologies, identifying the technical opportunities they can collectively provide.

The Mas numérique is structured around two thematic axes.

Axis 1: Plant protection and user ergonomics are key issues in vineyard operations. This demonstration axis incorporates 6 digital solutions, ranging from weather data acquisition to disease risk modelling, optimisation of input doses, intervention forecasting, field measurement of operations, and traceability. These tools highlight the opportunities for working more effectively and under better conditions.

Axis 2: Quality and yield management are central concerns of the domain. This demonstration axis integrates a chain of complementary technologies to support the Domaine in achieving production objectives, from planting to bottling.
